Baby Kobain – newborn session

I met Kat and Chris while baby Kobain was still in Mama’s tummy.  She had contacted me to book a maternity session before baby arrived.  After changing the date around a few times waiting for the perfect winter weather to arrive, we met on one of the coldest, but most gorgeous wintery day.  I took them to my new favourite spot, lined with evergreen trees.  They looked so beautiful covered in snow with flakes swirling all around us in the air.  Kat looked absolutely stunning in the long red maternity gown she had chosen from my closet.  Everything was perfect!

Finally, Baby Kobain had arrived.  I couldn’t wait to meet him!  He arrived at the studio and I scooped him up and wrapped him up gently.  He slept so peacefully as his family watched from afar.    At one point, I came out from the other side of my light to see two new faces had arrived since I started my session – Kobain’s Daddy Chris and his mother.  Grandma instantly started crying as soon as she laid her eyes on Baby Kobain.  That’s when Kat whispered to me that Grandma hadn’t met Baby Kobain yet.  Chris had just picked her up from the airport and they had driven straight to the studio.  I immediately handed Baby Kobain over to her and told her to take a few minutes to meet her new grandson.  It was the sweetest moment and I even had a few tears in my eyes.

Congratulations on the addition of sweet Baby Kobain to your family!  He is absolutely perfect and I can tell how loved he is already!  Thank you for choosing me to capture such precious moments for your family.
