I was so happy to see Baby Lauren’s family again. I had photographed her Big Brother for his first birthday. I was so excited to hear that they were expecting again and I couldn’t wait to photograph their maternity and newborn sessions. We met at a local greenhouse for their maternity session. Our winter weather had been very unpredictable, so I had suggested the warmth and beauty of Parkway Garden Center for our location. Mama wore a gorgeous forest green maternity gown from my studio and looked absolutely stunning in it! We even snuck outside for a few minutes at the end of our session as I had spotted a beautiful spot with some snow on the ground and some flakes in the air.
I couldn’t wait to see them all again once their little one had arrived! Soon after, Mama contacted me to let me know their sweet Baby Lauren had arrived. They brought her and Big Brother to the studio for her newborn session. She was absolutely beautiful with long dark hair and perfect round little cheeks. She slept so peacefully, all wrapped up, and snuggled in the arms of her loving parents.
I had picked out a selection of beautiful pink, blush and cream props, wraps and headbands for her session. Everything looked so pretty on her. I have a soft spot for babies with long hair, so of course, Lauren stole my heart right away! She loved being tucked up and swaddled all snug and warm. She didn’t make a fuss at all through her whole session!
Mama had specifically requested that I use my heart bowl and pink roses for one of the set ups. It is one of my favourite for little girls so I was happy to set it up for her. I even pulled out my little bunny bonnet and stuffed animal to add to it. She couldn’t have looked more adorable if she tried!
Congratulations on the addition of Baby Lauren to your family! She is absolutely gorgeous and it was such a pleasure capturing these special moments for your family. I was so happy to see you all again and can’t wait until the next time!
