Kat – maternity session

I was so excited when I awoke the morning of Kat’s maternity session to find that it had continued to snow overnight, and actually stayed on the ground!  There was even snowflakes floating through the air.  After some warmer-than-usual weather, rain and mud, we had had to reschedule Kat’s session previously.  Kat had visited me prior to her session and picked out the most gorgeous red, long-sleeved maternity gown from my studio closet.  It looked amazing on her with her dark hair and perfectly round belly.

Although it was chilly out, we headed out together to the most perfect row of evergreen trees.  It is my favourite spot for winter sessions.  Kat was a trooper and looked absolutely stunning!

I can’t wait to meet their sweet baby soon!  It’s only just a few short weeks away.  Bringing a new baby into the world is one of the most special experiences and I am so happy that they get to share that together.  Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy and I look forward to seeing you soon once your little one arrives.
