Baby C – newborn session

Baby C had the sweetest family.  His Big Brother was absolutely in love with him and they had only known each other for just a few days.  He was so eager to hold him and have their picture taken together.  I laid Baby C on his lap and he cradled him gently in his arms, looking down and smiling at him as he slept so peacefully.  His parents were so kind and loving as well.  Baby C is so lucky to have such a wonderful family who adores him so deeply.  He is their son, their brother, their little one, their rainbow baby.

Baby C was absolutely adorable with his squishy little cheeks and dark hair.  He wrapped up in the tiniest little ball and was perfectly content, sleeping away.  I pulled out some blues and neutrals, a variety of wooden props, and some rainbow items to acknowledge his family’s loss.

Mama told me how Big Brother has an Eeyore stuffie that he sleeps with in bed every night.  A family member had crocheted an Eeyore outfit for Baby C so she brought it along in hopes of capturing a few images of him wearing it.  I set up my tiny crib and changed Baby C into his new outfit.  He wasn’t a fan at first, he had loved his warm and cozy cocoon and wanted to stay wrapped up and cozy.  But after some patting and rocking and a little trickery, I was able to get him calmed back down and sleeping soundly again, dressed as a Baby Eeyore.

And just like that, our time together had come to an end.  I passed Baby C back to his Mama to get dressed again and ready to go home.  It was so great spending some time together and getting to snuggle your precious new little one.  Congratulations on the addition of your sweet Baby C to your family!  Thank you for coming to the Details studio for your newborn session.  I hope to see you all again soon!
