Now, more than ever, with the craziness surrounding us, we need to take the time to step back, look around us, and be so very grateful for everything that we have. I photographed baby Easton and his family before our world was turned upside down. It was a day just like any other, a new family walked through my studio door with their precious newborn baby. We talked and laughed and shared time together. Siblings cuddled and parents shared hugs and kisses with their sons. There was joy and happiness in the room. I wish so much that we could go back to that day and cherish every single second.
I photographed Baby Easton with his Big Brother and Mama and Daddy first. Big Brother was so great, kissing and cuddling his little baby and giving me the best smiles as I asked him about his favourite things. They were absolutely adorable together!!
Baby Easton was as sweet as pie! He was one of the sleepiest babies I have ever had in my studio and let me pose him nearly every way I could imagine. He was the perfect little baby model. Although, he did catch me off guard at one point when I had his diaper off and suddenly saw a fountain shooting straight up into the air!! However, he made up for it when I caught the sweetest smile while he was laying in my heart prop. What a perfect little picture!
So take this time to enjoy your family, hold your children a little bit closer, and cherish every moment you get to spend together. These are strange circumstances we are living in, but there is always a bright side. This is time we get to spend with those we love the most, time to watch our children grow before our eyes and to get to know them all over again. Don’t take it for granted! But here’s also to hoping that our lives will all return to normal soon and that health is on our side.
